California College of the Arts Oakland Redevelopment

Urban Planning Partners is preparing the EIR for the California College of the Arts (CCA) Redevelopment Project located at the current CCA Oakland Campus in North Oakland. CCA is currently planning for the unification of all housing and operations currently conducted at the Oakland campus into its San Francisco campus and student housing program. The CCA Oakland campus is currently developed with 12 educational-use structures and other decorative landscaping elements, many of which are considered historic under CEQA.

The project would include the redevelopment of the 4-acre campus and most of the existing structures with 460 residential units across two residential buildings, office space, and 1.7 acres of public open space, as well as the renovation and relocation of several of the other existing buildings.
